Trump's Legal Fees Are Bankrupting Republican Parties At The State Level

Donald Trump is not only bleeding his own coffers dry by paying for his legal fees, but a new report says that his legal fees are also sucking money away from cash-strapped state-level Republican parties. The problem is that the RNC is running their donations through Trump's Super PAC, which means that he gets a larger cut and the RNC is left with little cash to spread around to the near-bankrupt state chapters. This could spell electoral doom for Republicans in November, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains. Link - https://www.rawstory.com/republican-p... The Republican Party, both the National Republican Party, and of course the 50 state level Republican parties are having a really bad go of it right now because they're pretty much all running out of money. And it may be weird to think, but they're all running out of money because Donald Trump is soaking up all of the GOP money to pay his legal fees. But how does that affect the states? Right. Well, there is an answer to that, but before I get into that, let me remind you of something that I have talked about for several months now across the country from Michigan to Colorado to New Mexico, and everywhere in between Minnesota, Wisconsin, we have had Ohio. We have had reports Pennsylvania of the Republican party at the state level running low on money to the point where some of them, like in Colorado, don't even have enough money to pay the rent on their headquarters. Like that is how broke state level Republican parties have become in Michigan. It's been a much more publicized disaster with fights over leadership. But all of it comes down to the lack of money coming in. Now in the past when these state level Republican parties who of course have elections coming up as well, when they run outta money, they turn to the big party, the RNC, Hey, we're low on cash, y'all got tens of millions if not hundreds of millions. Help us out. So we don't lose our majority in this state. But they can't do that these days because the RNC, as we all know recently decided that they were gonna form a joint fundraising committee with Donald Trump's Save America Political Action Committee. And the Save America Political Action Committee just so happens to be one of Donald Trump's pacs that essentially pays all of his legal fees. So even if you're giving money to the RNC, A portion of that immediately gets peeled away to go to Donald Trump's pac, which then goes to pay lawyers like Todd Blanc and Alina Haa. So the RNC is taking a smaller cut of all the money they bring in, and the RNC, of course is supposed to be funding the races for other Republicans across the country. So not only do they not not have enough money to do that, but they also now can't bail out the state level Republican parties who are going bankrupt. I mean literally going bankrupt. And it's all because they're giving that money to Donald Trump, which was the plan all along when he installed his daughter-in-Law and his good buddy Michael Watley as the co-chairs of the Republican National Committee. So because Donald Trump is peeling off all that money to pay for his legal fees, state level Republican parties don't have enough money to run their races, which puts Their majorities at an even greater risk this coming November. And in case you're wondering like, well, is that really going to affect them? The answer is yes. And you know how we know that, because that actually happened in the year 2008 with the Democrats, Barack Obama. You know, I'm not trying to, you know, be negative on Obama here, but he actually did roughly the same thing with the DNC.
