Since their introduction feral buffalo have thrived in lush areas of Arnhem Land in Northern Australia. The wild animals are a big issue for people who live on and manage the land in the Top End, causing extensive damage to natural waterholes and billabongs, destroying wetlands and spreading weeds. The community called Bulman. Bulman is a cattle station town in the Northern Territory with a population of just 280 people. Annette Miller and her daughter Shantelle, are two of the Traditional Owners of this region. Well I grew up here as a young girl, running wild in the bush, living in bush shelters.
