Chicken Kadhi Ingredients for Chicken Pakoda Mix 1 & 1/2 Cup Chicken mince 1 Cup onions finely chopped 1 Cup besan (Gram flour) 4-5 green chilies finely chopped 1/2 Tbsp coriander seeds crushed 1 Tsp cumin powder 1/2 Tsp Garam masala powder 1/2 Tsp ginger garlic paste 1/2 Turmeric 1/4 Tsp Baking soda Salt to taste Ingredients for Kadhi 1/4 Cup besan gram flour 1/2 Cup Curd 2 Cups water + 1 Cup water 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds 2 Tsp garlic finely chopped 1 Tsp garlic finely chopped 2-3 green chilies finely chopped 1/2 Tsp hing 1/2 Tsp turmeric 1/2 Tbsp coriander seeds crushed 1/2 Tsp garam masala powder Ingredients for Tadka 1 Tbsp ghee 1 Tsp Mustard seeds 8-10 Curry leaves 2 Red chilies 1 Tsp red chili powder Method In a bowl … Mix together chicken mince, onions, green chilies, crushed coriander seeds,cumin powder, garam masala powder,ginger garlic paste, turmeric, besan & salt .. mix everything well by adding ¼ cup water Add baking soda .. mix well Heat oil for deep frying .. Make bite size pakoda, deep fry on medium flame ..Until crunchy (keep aside) For the Kadhi In a bowl.. Add besan & curd whisk well, without any lumps Add 2 Cups, Combine well Heat 2 Tbsp oil.. Add cumin seeds, let them splutter Add ginger, garlic & green chilies & sauté till the raw smell goes Add crushed coriander seeds, garam masala powder & turmeric … Saute for 20 Secs Add ¼ cup & sauté till it come to a boil Add the kadhi mix along with half more cup of water & cook on low flame until it comes to a boil (Keep stirring) Once starts to boil … Add half portion of the deep fried chicken pakodas ( Remaining half can been eaten as a snack) Cook on low flame (10mins)Until it thickens, check for salt & add if needed For the Tadka Heat ghee .. Once hot, add mustard seeds once they splutter…add red chillies & curry leaves, switch of flame .. After 30secs add red chili powder Add to the cooked kadhi .. combine well & garnish with coriander Cover & let it rest for 8-10 minutes before serving Serve with any rice of choice or just plain rice with lots of ghee ..!!
