Modded 1976 Fender Bandmaster Reverb Combo

In the shop we have a modded 1976 Fender Bandmaster Reverb 2x6 Combo! This is a unique frankenstein of an original amp with modern features! What would normally just be a head, this unit has been converted into an all-in-one combo, with 2 - 6" Speakers, a "flipped reverb tank," an AUX input and an internal switch to change between 6L6 or 6V6 power tubes! The tolex on this combo is very clean for a 76, showing a few signs of wear, pictured. The grill cloth is non original but in great shape with minimal wear, pictured. The power cable has also been updated to a 3-prong for safety. Modded by Uncle Alberts in 1993, there are a number of changes to note: changed the Normal Channel tone stack to be less bassy, replaced V1 cathode bypass cap added an AUX input to the vibrato channel, pre-reverb replaced 47k resistors in the bias balance circuit replaced 100ohm resistors in the heater supply center tap by pilot light installed switch to change between 6V6 & 6L6 tubes (changes screen resistors) HEAVILY modified cabinet: Reverb tank cut out, flipped and installed "in" the bottom of amp. Original front baffle/grill cloth removed and 2 - 6" Speakers installed in new baffle Replaced Vibrato OptoCoupler (done by IST)
