BUSTED?!?! BRAND NEW Mitsubishi DiamondTrac MRL Hotel Elevators at The Tampa EDITION in Tampa, FL

Filmed on September 25th, 2022 with ‪@ElevatingFlorida‬ and ‪@TheElevatorGuru‬. As of September of 2022, Tampa now has not ONE, NOT TWO, NOT THREE, but FOUR Buildings with Mitsubishi Elevators!!! It's so crazy how only 3 years ago we didn't have any Mitsubishi's and here we are and now we've got FOUR in town! Mitsubishi Elevators are EASILY some of the most well built elevators that money can buy in the 21st century, and I'm so glad they''ve made it here! These elevators at located at the BRAND NEW Tampa EDITION Hotel & Residences, which is a Brand New 5 Star Luxury Hotel that's EVEN MORE Luxurious than the Nearby JW Marriott, and the first 9 floors of the building are Hotel Rooms while floors 10-26 are Ultra Luxury Residences! (For reference, this place is also a Marriott property, EDITION is a subbrand of The Ritz-Carlton) This New Property is absolutely STUNNING and the elevators here are absolutely no expection to that! I'm honestly surprised that this hotel didn't go woth Touchscreen COPs for the elevators, but let me tell ya, I'm VERY GLAD they didn't! The New Mitsubishi buttons are just so nice to press and so much nicer and cooler to look at, and they will hold up way better in the years to come! The cabs on these elevators are absolutely GORGEOUS and like other Mitsy's I've been on, the Ride Quality is as smooth as silk! This video was taken NOT EVEN A WEEK after the hotel opened, and as you can see, Not all of the lights in the elevator cab were installed! Unfortunately, this video didn't turn out as planned and I was gonna do more rides on these elevators, but unfortunately we were busted while riding. Interestingly, the guard who busted us told us that we can't film with cameras but we can film/take pictures with our phones (like WTF!?!?). I have no idea why the hotel has this policy and why I can't use my camera but can use my phone to do the exact same thing, this was definitely one of the weirdest busts I've ever experienced. Because of this, half of the video was recorded with my Sony AX-43 while the other half was recorded with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. That all being said however, even though we weren't told to leave or not ride, after we made it back up to the 9th floor and headed back down, we decided to just leave the hotel and end downstairs as we didn't want to attract anymore attention. I WILL TRY to get videos of the Service and Residential Elevators at some point later down the road, but NO PROMISES (and it will likely need to be done with authorization) as Security here is definitely stricter than we expected (but I guess this makes sense since this a Super High End 5 star Hotel that doubles as Residences).
