Kyoto Animation's Return to Seasonal Anime, and Why It's Important For the Anime Industry

Kyoto Animation, also known is KyoAni, is a studio that's touched the lives of millions through of their works. From a cute and innocent show of band girls in K-On, to a god-like figure in high school with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, to touching on bullying and redemption in A Silent Voice: KyoAni has done just about it all. The studio was on an absolute roll after the release of their smash hit Violet Evergarden, but an event happened that changed everything. After their disappearance due to said event for about 3 years, the studio has finally returned to seasonal anime with Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S. Join me today as we go over a brief history of the studio, analyze a bit of Dragon Maid, and welcome them back to the wonderful world of seasonal anime. Some of the clips borrowed from Nippon News:    • Kyoto Animation fire, one week on   I also got some clips from a few news stations, so of course credits go to those stations for their work.
