York's Hidden Gem Campsite The Rest Was Awful

In this video, we share our honest opinion of our recent trip to York, England. While we were excited to visit such a historic town, we found that everything was far too expensive and overpriced. We were also disappointed that we couldn't bring our dogs with us, and that we weren't allowed to walk on the York walls with them. To top it off, we paid a shocking £28 for a chip shop tea and then an additional £20 for drinks. Despite our negative experience in York, we did find a great campsite that we highly recommend. The campsite was located just a short drive from the city and was very well-maintained. It was an adult-only campsite, which meant that it was very quiet and peaceful. The facilities were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We particularly liked the fact that the campsite was surrounded by trees and greenery, which made for a very pleasant and relaxing stay. While we won't be going back to York anytime soon, we would definitely consider staying at this campsite again.
