Flight of Valor (Arke the Griffon Rider) - Fire Emblem Fallen Kingdom (Busking with Nessa)

This is a character theme for our Griffon Rider, Arke (and Monti the Griffon) based on my Bard character's interpterion of him. I won't be sharing all of my character's thoughts. But I do want to go into spoiler free detail about my process creating this. So I made this song a faster tempo than a lot of my other character themes *you'll understand in the future), in the time signature is in 3/4 and the leading instrument is the accordion. Part of this is due to Zelda brain rot because of the Rito using a lot of different time signatures and accordions. But I also think it really suited the glass cannon approach this player built Arke to be like. The accordion is replaced by Nessa's flageolet sample in the second half, since she would be playing these on the battlefield and throughout the campaign. I also took inspiration from "Overture of Legend: The Beast Awakens" from Sea of Stars, simply because it suited Arke's vibe. The use of arpeggios represents the take off and landing of his Griffon. I put the song in E Major, which is also a key signature used to represent both a readiness to fight and boisterous energy, which Arke is seen showing when helping others. As for uses of leitmotifs. This song uses two of them. A 3/4 variant of the Alberic Motif, which you can hear in the other two songs And one other motif that I want to keep secret, just in case. Lastly, the name "Flight of Valor" was chosen by the creator of Arke. It's a very cool name!
