The archetype has no Main Deck monsters, only one monster with non-zero ATK (who cannot deal battle damage), and the effects of all its Quick-Play Spells cause the player to skip their next Battle Phase, forcing the archetype to entirely forgo combat to focus on Deck out. All "Runick" Quick-Play Spells can be activated only once per turn, and each allows choosing between one of two effects: a unique effect that provides consistency/disruption/Deck milling and then banishes a varied number of cards from the top of the opponent's Deck, or a shared effect to Special Summon 1 "Runick" monster from the Extra Deck to the Extra Monster Zone. Activating either effect of a "Runick" Quick-Play Spell requires the player to skip their next Battle Phase. The "Runick" Extra Deck monsters serve as the archetype's defensive strategy, providing additional resource searching or cycling, and some protection against battle or effects. The key card to the archetype's resource loop is their Field Spell "Runick Fountain", which lets the player activate "Runick" Quick-Play Spells from the hand during the opponent's turn, and once per turn (during either player's turn) it can place up to 3 "Runick" Quick-Play Spells from the Graveyard to the bottom of the Deck and have the player draw that many cards. "Spright" is an archetype centered on supporting Level/Rank/Link-2 monsters. Each Main Deck "Spright" monster can Special Summon themselves from the hand once per turn, if the player controls either a Level 2 monster (all "Spright" monsters), a Rank 2 monster (DARK "Spright" monsters), or a Link-2 monster (FIRE "Spright" monsters). Each Main Deck "Spright" monster also has a second beneficial once per turn effect; either searching monsters and Spells/Traps, providing effect negations, or gaining ATK/DEF. The primary boss monsters of the theme such as "Gigantic Spright". "Gigantic Spright" is a Rank 2 DARK Thunder Xyz Monster that can be Xyz Summoned using Link-2 monsters the player controls as materials, and can Special Summon a Level 2 monster from the Deck, making it an Extra Deck starter for various Level 2-related engines; Two of the archetype's key cards, "Spright Starter" and "Gigantic Spright", both apply a Special Summoning lock to the player after their effect resolves, forcing the player into only being able to Special Summon Level/Rank/Link-2 monsters, limiting the player's Deck building and combo options. Notably, the restriction effect of "Giantic Spright" is also applied to the opponent; as a Spell Speed 1 effect, this cannot be used as a disruption, but it can provide some protection against the opponent's Quick Effects in the player's turn, such as them using "Nibiru, the Primal Being "Fur Hire" is primarily a Swarm Deck that aims to quickly fill the field with monsters from the hand. These monsters can either be used for beatdown or to fuel Link Summoning. To achieve this swarming, the Deck uses the shared effects of the low-Level monsters "Fur Hire" to Special Summon more monsters "Fur Hire", which in turn can keep the Summons going. To address consistency, the most important monster "Fur Hire" is "Beat, Bladesman Fur Hire", whose trigger effect searches a monster "Fur Hire", allowing for you to extend your plays with the monster you need. Another important low-Level monster is "Filo, Messenger Fur Hire", whose trigger effect revives a monster "Fur Hire" from the GY, granting resource recovery and further extending your board. Upon its Summon, it Special Summons a monster "Fur Hire" from the Deck with a different Type from the Link Materials used, which replenishes some of the advantage used to Summon it. Its other effect triggers if an opponent's card is destroyed by battle or card effect, to allow the player to draw 1 card, plus 2 more cards if the player controls three or more different monsters "Fur Hire" (including "Folgo"), providing a massive boost in card advantage. If you can Summon "Folgo" while you still have a "Donpa, Marksman Fur Hire" or "Recon, Scout Fur Hire" on the field who have not yet used their effects, the player "Fur Hire" can trigger the draw effect immediately upon the Summon of "Folgo". The effects of all low-Level monsters "Fur Hire" can also be activated again during the opponent's turn, making cards that can Special Summon monsters "Fur Hire" during the opponent's turn to trigger them very valuable. #yugioh #yugiohcommunity #yugiohtcg #deckprofile #ycs
