Speedrun of Sonic Advance 3, Best Ending, on normal difficulty in 1:17:58 RTA - timing starts upon selecting the starting team, and ends upon the in-game timer freezing upon defeating Nonaggression. This speedrun was ran on a gamecube with a GBA Player, using the Gameboy Interface software (You can see my input display at the top!). This is the one advance game that has a much more enjoyable best ending / 100% category, as it's also the only one that doesn't require beating the entire game multiple times. And also showcases a nice variety of gameplay. I use the North American version of the game, which is slower than japanese / pal by a negligible amount for this category, but I prefer this version. This run itself had some sloppy spots, and bad toy kingdom (unsurprising - definitely my weakest zone), but I generally had really good special key luck (most notably twinkle snow and chaos angel) and also some good highlights. Very improvable run but eh, good enough for now. Unlocking Nonaggression requires the following: - Unlock all characters - this means clearing Zone 2/4/6 Act 3 with Sonic as the lead character to unlock Knuckles/Amy/Cream, respectively - Collect the 7 Chaos Emeralds. This requires collecting all 10 chao of an emerald's corresponding zone (thankfully not necessarily in one go, unlike in advance 2), collect a special key (there are several in every stage), then clear the special stage. - See the Chaos Emeralds cutscene after credits. This means I need to watch the credits once. - Beat Altar Emerald again with Sonic as the lead character.
