Churdhar is a holy place related with Shri Shirgul Maharaj also know as Chureshwar Maharaj, a deity widely worshipped in Sirmour and Chaupal. The major god of area is Lord Shirgul Maharaj. Many gods goes their for religious pilgrim and bath at the holy temple of lord shirgul.💓 We start our journey from barog(chewa)at 6.30 am To nohradhar,that is 66 km After reaching solan at 7.00am We took a turn from dc office to rajgarh,after driving for another hour. We reached rajgarh at 8.00 am Then we took a break and start driving at 8.30 am And after this We reached nohradhar at 10:00 am And the trek start at 11:00am Nohradhar to churdhar is 18 km long trek with elevation climb of 5000ft(1524m). Nohradhar is at an altitude of 7,000ft( 2133.6m) and churdhar is at an altitude of 12,000ft(3657.6m). In other words churdhar is on higher altitude then leh(ladakh) now u can imagine how difficult this trek could be,especially when u r not acclimatized.
