Timing starts on first input after entering new game ends upon the screen fading to black after defeating the Devourer. While the rules do not specifically state that cheats are banned, I chose not to use them even if it would make the run faster. Due to the moderator rejecting my original run because of an alleged cut in the video, I decided it would be easier to get a shorter time than to prove that the original was legitimate.
