A short time with one of India's most well-known Fashion Photographer, R Burman

Barely a decade has passed since his arrival back in India, and in such a short time R Burman has made a name for himself as one of India's most well-known fashion photographers. Here we got a short time to interact with him and he shares his views and experiences with us. He says he has always loved photography, and he still remember the day when his dad gave him a camera. He had wandered around, taking pictures but really knew nothing about the abc of photography. The time, when he went to the photography school, everything was still being taught on film and digital photography was just beginning. He further talk about his love for food, music and art that is genetic to him. He also shows some of his cool cameras that he has used and still using. He shares some of his new works that he has done recently. A photo-shoot for the cover of Elle done in April with Alia Bhatt. One of his favorite models Lisa Hayden who has incredible versatility in front of camera, he shoots her for GQ and for the same magazine he just completed his latest shoot with Shraddha Kapoor. He also shows his one of the favorite pictures with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, shot for GQ. He just finished his work with a carpet company called Cocoon Carpets and it's very contemporary. He thinks minimalism mixed with a little bit of reality inspired by Instagram, iPhone pictures and all of that, and this is where a lot of his photography is heading now. Concluding the talk, he hopes that he will be able to keep getting inspired and keep shooting beautiful pictures for his fans.
