The performance was presented by classical crossover soprano and producer Elona Krasavtseva. The audience enjoyed a unique, colorful and eclectic tribute concert that honors the incomparable talents of the world-renowned English classical crossover soprano, actress and dancer Sarah Brightman. She has established herself as the world’s bestselling soprano with worldwide sales of over 25 million albums and two million DVDs. The world acknowledges her as the inspiration behind award-winning musical theater extraordinaire Andrew Lloyd Webber, who composed the scores of some of the world's most famous musicals – including “Evita,” “The Phantom of the Opera” «Jesus Christ the Superstar” and “Cats.” The Palladium audience enjoyed beloved songs from Broadway musicals and more than a dozen other classical and popular songs through the years from the popular “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” to “Memories” and “Dust in the Wind” to “Whiter Shade of Pale”, “Scarborough Fair” and “Stranger in Paradise,” to “Phantom of the Opera”, “Time to Say Goodbye”, Schubert’s “Ave Maria”, and Webber’s “Pie Jesu”. The last was performed with Lumina Youth Choir of Tampa with artistic director Deah McReynolds. The tribute had showcased not only the classics, but pop and rock songs from Sarah Brightman’s well-known repertoire but through a new lens of musical magic brought to life by Elona Krasavtseva. She offered a rare combination of breathtaking vocal performances, Lumina Youth Choir, a stunning visual and light extravaganza, ballroom and belly dancers, and musicians directed by Global Music Awards winner Alex Nakhimovsky. The Phantom’s duet was performed with Alex Boyd, an acclaimed baritone from New York City.
