This past weekend we attended NAMM so we had an incredibly short time to put this together, maybe 3 days give or take. We completely underestimated this song since it was so much more simple in nature from Face My Fears. I even opted in the beginning to go pretty simple with the guitars in favor of keeping the main part piano. I think I had about one-two hours total to mix the entire thing between tracking, filming, editing, and everything else before having to leave for NAMM. It was tough balancing everything with the vocals since there's a full metal band with piano, strings, and multiple dynamic sections and vocal harmonies and guitar solos. We did our best and hope you enjoy it! As for the video, Corey graciously filmed the entire thing for us this time around. He did a phenomenal job with the movements. You can see him in the reflection a lot, something we tried to mitigate with a polarizer lens filter on the camera but it turns out that the glass behind us is either treated or two-paned so it had no effect! Please excuse him in the back, hope it just makes the video more, uh, indie. Next week I'll probably do something super silly but from a game I adored last year that I just finished.
