I did this interview in 1999, just when “Euphoria Morning” was about to be released. I’d travelled across the country to meet up with Chris Cornell at Hotel Phoenix in Copenhagen, Denmark and interview him for NRG Magazine - The biggest rock/metal magazine in Denmark at the time. A bit excited and a bit nervous to meet Chris Cornell, as I really admired him (I still do after his passing) and wasn’t that old. Meeting him was a really good experience. He was nice, interested and down to earth. Our conversation became more and more relaxed as it progressed, as you can hear on this recording. During my time as a music reporter I’ve interviewed several musicians, somehow this tape is the only one that has survived the passing of time.
