Hello viewers, hopefully everyone are well. This video I am going to demonstrate how to replace the Transmission fluid ATF FZ & Transmission filter on this Mazda equipped with Skyactiv transmission FW6AEL / FW6AX EL. The car has done 40.000 kms. This procedure should be similar with all Mazda equipped with Skyactiv gasoline engine and Automatic transmission. Tools & Parts: Mazda ATF FZ Fluid Mazda Strainer filter FZ 0121 500 / Equivalent OE parts Torque wrench Set to 9 - 10 Nm. Ratchet with 10mm socket Hex drive 8mm Liquid gasket RTV Red / Grey Please recheck the ATF FZ fluid level once you completed the service and have the vehicle warmed up. It must be leveled on the marking on the dip stick. Even though the manual books stated the ATF is lifetime and doesnt need changing i would not recommend to follow because of what i had saw from my transmission service. I highly recommend this service and is a must every 40000kms. After the service, the transmission should feel very smooth engaging all the gears. Gives the car a better performance from changing the gears. Every 20000kms i recommend to drain n fill service for the transmission.
