SOLUTION: Check Anti Pollution System Renault - Check Engine

Watch this video until the end to find out the possible solution for Anti Pollution warning message. CAR: Renault Megane 3 , 1.6 16V (110 HP Petrol Engine) ERROR: Check Anti Pollution System - Warning Light EVAP:The Evaporative Emissions Control system, or EVAP, plays a crucial role in curbing hydrocarbon pollution from gasoline-powered vehicles. While we often focus on tailpipe emissions, the EVAP system targets the constant release of gasoline vapors from the fuel tank and engine. Even when the engine is off, an open fuel system can contribute to pollution. Since the 1970s, EVAP systems have been mandatory on gasoline vehicles. A standard EVAP system comprises a fuel tank, charcoal-filled vapor storage canister, valves, hoses, and a sealed fuel tank gas cap. Its purpose is to prevent fuel system fumes from escaping into the atmosphere. Vent lines direct vapors to the vapor canister, where they're stored until the engine starts. Once the engine warms up, a purge valve opens, allowing vapors to be drawn into the intake manifold and burned alongside the air/fuel mixture. EVAP systems are low-maintenance but critical for emissions control. On pre-OBD II vehicles, issues were often only addressed when they caused performance problems, not emissions concerns. OBD II-equipped vehicles, however, have a PCM that monitors the system, ensuring no hydrocarbons escape. The PCM runs an EVAP diagnostic monitor under specific conditions, detecting even tiny leaks and triggering a Check Engine light if needed. Let's delve into the key components and functions of the EVAP system: FUEL TANK: The tank stores fuel and is designed to be airtight. Failures at the tank's lower portions result in visible fuel leaks, while failures on top allow gasoline fumes to escape. Understanding these components sheds light on the importance of the EVAP system in maintaining environmental standards for vehicle emissions. CAPLESS FUEL FILLER (easy fuel capless fuel filler system): The capless system simplifies the refueling process for drivers. It allows you to open the fuel door, insert the fuel nozzle without dealing with a traditional cap, and eliminates concerns about dropping it against the side of the vehicle. After refueling, simply close the filler door, and you can continue your journey. SOLUTION: Issue can be solved by cleaning the capless filler flap and lubricate it. I used clean piece of cloth, soaked it with WD40, carefuly (!) cleaned it outside and inside using one finger and funnel. (take care NOT to stuck Your finger!) There are two filler closing valves, the second Inner one is made from metal and also can be very dirty. (Important: Use this Information at Your own risk) The cleaning process is almost the same only the car and capless design is bit different:    • Clean Fuel Filler Door Seal and Fille...   In case your car have Diesel engine and NOT petrol please check next video for fixing the issue:    • Renault Trafic Check Anti Pollution S...   (Renault Trafic Check Anti Pollution System) You can also Check Out other Renault Megane 3 related video As well:    • How To Check Oil Level Without a Dips...   Thanks "Creatormix" for the background music: https://creatormix.com/
