Mark Scheifele enters the offensive zone and nears the defender, withholding position of his body to perform the action of a shot release, causing the defender to attempt to halt his movement with the defensive action of a "poke check". Scheifele counters this performance of action, however, utilizing his top hand to angle the toe of his blade downward onto the puck, and perform a movement of it to his left in a manner that is controlled and precise.
