On Saturday, a 61-year-old man was found in 46-feet of water in Lake Lanier after swimming from a boat “when he went down and did not resurface,” the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said in a statement sent to USA TODAY Monday. The Georgia DNR identified the man as Tracey Stewart. That evening, a 27-year-old man was swimming from a boat when he went under and did not resurface, the Georgia DNR said.
