The American flag pair you see in the video was my 1st pair I owned and lasted me about 26-28 months before ripping apart. My next pair of Fairtex boxing gloves are the painters. The leather is softer and the wrist protection goes down your wrist more. I'm still getting used to them but so far I'm not super pumped on them either, I might need to switch back to the type of glove like my American flag pair.
