Slow Garden Moments in Winter 🌧🌿 Lazy Gardening for Healthy Soil & Creating a Rosemary Topiary

Today's video is all about the slow moments we've been enjoying in the garden throughout winter. In winter, I'm trying to focus on soil health, and prepping all of the garden beds for spring when the weather warms up. This also means maintaining all of the established trees and shrubs on the property - giving them a prune when needed and using these trimmings to create even more soil and food for our plants. It's also a time for me to really focus on creating beauty in the garden. Something I've wanted to try for a long time is creating a rosemary topiary - so today I'm giving it a go and I'll keep you updated on how it grows! 💐Online Shop💐 - https://thepatchinbloom.com.au/ Use code: YOUTUBE10 for a discount Want to support the channel? 🌱 Support me on Patreon -   / thenaturepatch   🌱 Check out my Instagram for daily garden updates   / the_nature_patch   🌱 Buy me a coffee https://ko-fi.com/thenaturepatch 🌱 Follow me on instagram - @the_nature_patch 🌲 Shop my favourites 🌲 🌿 Shop Aussie Gardener Store - https://aussiegardener.com.au/thenatu... Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW. My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist, and flower farmer. I have recently completed my PhD in understanding how people's wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change but now I'm taking a break from research to pursue a dream of owning a flower farm. I've always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food! On this channel you'll find videos relating to garden tours, 'how to' videos, composting, soil health and how to start a flower farm. I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!! 🤎 Filmed and edited on Yuin country. I acknowledge and pay respects to Traditional Owners of the land past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land. ____________________________________________________ You can contact me at (business inquires only): [email protected] Thank you so much for your support.
