LOL HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAKUGO!! Quite awhile back I was watching just a bunch of those short cooking videos on Instagram and 2 randomly stood out to me-- 1. Stacked cupcakes to make a cactus (green!! barrel shape!!) and 2. Using the melting wafers as colorful decorative topping (flame-like!!). So then I came up with this LOLOL My Deku wig is not quite done, but I needed another "character" for the intro and was on a time contraint haha I'm definitely not a pro cake decorator (I used boxed mix hello), this was just for fun, and it was actually the first time I had tried doing some of the things shown. I'd love to see pics if you ever decided to try making your own explodo-cakes!! LOL **Some additional notes: 1. It's best to have relatively flat-topped cupcakes, which I didn't really achieve (too much batter per spot). 2. I used yellow cake, because I thought it just fit the aesthetic, but any flavor works, since it gets covered up anyway. 3. The shade of green I made using teal, green, yellow, and a smidge of red food coloring. 4. The black lines include 3 sort of concentric circles around the circumference (first at like the "crown" of the mound at the top), and then 6 vertical lines from the top circle to the base. 5. Spread the melting wafers on wax paper with a butter knife.
