DECA ICDC First Place Written Event Presentation

In 2022, Eric Bedrosian, Alex Jurkovich, and Ajay Singh from HSE DECA competed in the Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research event, placing 1st at the International Career Development Conference. This is a post-ICDC recording of our presentation to give you an idea of what we went through to take home that sweet DECA glass! For the 2021-2022 DECA HTOR event, members were asked to help improve the employee experience of a chosen hospitality industry location. The result of our contacts led us to working with Rusty Taco, a restaurant group under the Inspire Brands umbrella, while also working with AES Restaurant Group, LLC, a Carmel-based franchisee of over 150 Arby's locations. This recording is POST-ICDC, meaning that the nerve and stress is removed from it. In any case, presentations at ICDC are never perfect, and we hope that this video gives you an idea of what can be done when using the proper techniques, guidelines, and timelines.
