During our recent travels, we had the opportunity to visit the charming farming community of Marchand, a place we didn't get to on our previous trip to the area. Our decision to stop off there turned out to be a delightful surprise. As we approached, we couldn't help but admire the magnificent church, even though we couldn't enter due to an ongoing service. Crossing the mighty Orange River via a single-lane bridge was an exhilarating experience. The view from the bridge was simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic sight that surpassed our expectations. We were especially captivated by the sight of an older, unused bridge nearby. As we continued exploring, we were treated to the enchanting sight of vineyards stretching out as far as the eye could see.
