But when you look at them carefully, you will be persuaded that these might be the world’s most beautiful women. Welcome to Afroartista Films and here are five reasons why Somali women are Gods special creation. 1. Their beauty. All of them have beautiful long faces but feminine, long and thin noses, full lips, and very smooth, honey-colored skin. None of them have acne or any other issues. But the most disappointing thing that I’ve seen in our new society is that, they are getting rid of their beautiful dark skin. Their eyes eyed are medium, sparkling bright with clear whites and when they smile, they really light up. Their voices are bold and very animated. It can get husky but I think it adds to their allure. Somali women have also been blessed with curvy but lean physiques and have the classic hourglass figure that is characteristic of so many African women. 2. They're Pious/Religious/Good hearted. The Somali people, in general, are very devoted to Islam which makes the Somali populated region one of the most religiously homogenous places in the whole world. Somali women display their religious devotion through their very modest and conservative clothing which consists of the abaya and hijab, as well as the niqab which covers almost every part of their bodies. This also trickles down to their overall morals and character. I would argue that unmarried women are almost all virgins. If you have interacted with them then you will also agree with me that they are also very good-hearted and friendly. 3. Great Cooks. Somali food in general is very savory and mouthwatering. Somali meals, generally always cooked by women, are meat driven. Popular Somali foods like sambuusa, baris which is a spicy rice dish, large pancakes known as anjero and meat dishes will leave your taste buds in ecstasy. These women are the main architects behind these dishes. A Somali woman will not compromise in the kitchen, and this is another reason why they are special. 4. Their Height. Almost every Somali woman I have ever encountered was tall. On average, there are above 5 feet 5 inches tall. This is one of the reasons why many of them like Iman have succeeded in modeling on international platforms. The Somali tribe in general is taller than average. Somali women exude grace and majesty due to their height and when you take into account their other physical traits, these women are indeed special. 5. Hardworking. Somali women are also very hard-working and business minded. Given a chance they can do wonders. In the Somali society, which is very patriarchal, they have indeed proved themselves capable. And their impact is being felt at all levels. In Kenya for example, one of the most distinguished cabinet ministers is Dr. Amina Mohamed, a Somali woman. Ilhan Abdullahi Omar is a Somali-American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Minnesota's 5th congressional district since 2019. Others are the First female Presidential Candidate (Fadumo Dayib), Barnet Muslim Women's Network Hanan Ibrahim, former Federal Minister of Social Development Maryam Qaasim, former Foreign Minister of the Somaliland region Edna Adan Ismail, and parliamentary consultant Hodan Ahmed.
