--Get the remix-- ▷ http://smarturl.it/flyoctoflyqumu --Description-- For some reason I’ve always found the Splatoon soundtracks to be difficult to cover. I’ve started 5 different remixes of different Splatoon songs, but a lot of what I love about them lies in the specific sounds and samples that are used, and it just feels like they lose everything that makes them unique when I recreate them from scratch. I had no other choice but to cover this after I first heard it in game though! Sooooo good!!! Just everything. The attitude, the feel, the hype, the 1-min remaining twist! Literally gave me chills when I played it! ;o; Transcription went much better than expected, as there are a lot of small variations in the arrangement that had to be accounted for. Had to listen to it a lot to get everything right :o Also, as with all vocal songs, I try to match the lead synth up with the syllables and tone of the vocalist, which isn't always the easiest thing to do. This is an incredibly synth heavy track (no violin this time)! So not a lot to say about instrumentation other than that most synths were made with Serum, with the exception of the chiptune stuff (Chipsounds) and the main leads (and, like, one pad) which I made using Massive.
