Dear visitors, brothers in arms, fellow practitioners, new students of Karate-Do, martial arts in general and anybody with an open mind, who decide to stop by and check. Please listen, pay attention on the signs, and adapt to your ability, your age, and present physical condition. Respect your body, every part of your body. Avoid risky and unsafe practices in Karate training! We tend to train and teach as we were taught. As a result, many of the exercise routines we do are harmful to our bodies and those of our students. Sometimes we are caught up in nostalgia or may have such loyalty to former instructors that we refuse to believe that the exercises they taught us do more harm than good. Training and body movement research has identified many problems with the old standby routines, and have found better and improved ways over yesterday's workout routine. There are ways to practice Karate and put minimal stress on muscles, joints, spine, etc… “After you learn something, you must gradually change it to your own way. Blind followers are dead.
