Revolutionizing the Approach of Modular Integrated Construction with Smart Logistics

A research team led by Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) has developed a blockchain-based e-Inspection platform that allows all units to be checked and tracked from construction to delivery and final installation without the need to travel across the border. The e-Inspection system - including i-Core, e-InStar and e-TranStar apps - is now being applied in the recent construction of the Wong Chuk Hang Student Residence, HKU and is supported by the HKU Estates Office, Paul Y. Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Centre with funding from HKSAR Innovation and Technology Fund. 跨境組裝合成建築模塊技術 革新智慧物流 香港大學建築學院領導的研究團隊成功開發一項以區塊鏈為基礎的的電子組裝合成技術。該項技術有助提升建造單位的整體生產效率﹐特別可在中港兩地免跨境的情況下，遙距加快施工運輸、組裝檢測及監察等程序。該項技術包括i-Core、e-InStar和e-TransStar應用程式，現已應用於港大黃竹坑學生宿舍的建造過程。該項技術獲香港大學物業處、保華建業集團、物流及供應鏈多元技術研發中心支持，並由政府創新和技術基金資助。
