Layout the board and place the balls by color in the reserve area. Players randomly pick a color. The light color goes first then turns alternate. On your turn you may place 1 sphere from your reserve on any empty space on the board or on top of any square of 4 spheres, or you may instead move one of your spheres that has already been placed up 1 or more levels to be on top of any square of spheres. You may not move spheres down in levels, across to the same level, no move a sphere that is supporting another sphere. If you place a sphere so that you complete a square of 4 spheres, then you get to remove 1 or 2 of your spheres from play and add them to your reserve, including the sphere you just placed. You can return spheres from any level but you may not remove a sphere that is supporting another sphere. If you complete multiple squares in the same move, you still only get to remove up to 2 spheres. You are allowed to move a sphere to a higher level which then makes a square that allows you to remove 1 or 2 of your spheres. If you can’t make a play, then you skip your turn and your opponent fills in the rest of the pyramid and wins. Otherwise, the player to place the sphere that completes the pyramid, wins.
