ULTRA FAST "OTISsenkrupp" Elevonic 401/411M/D.S.C. Traction Elevators at TD Bank Centre, Toronto, ON

Filmed with BigElevatorDude707 and DanielMar1228. These are the ULTRA FAST Elevators that are currently being modernized at the TD Bank Centre Tower in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. These Elevators are SUPER FAST and have quite THRILLING Acceleration, and are just beauties!!!!! I've heard these might actually be the Fastest in Canada too!!!!!! These go around 1400-1600FPM!!!! Unfortunately, Thyssenkrupp is currently modernizing these elevators with Destination Selection Control (DSC) DestinationDispatch, which really is such a shame, as I REALLY LOVED these elevators and they were probably some of my favorites in Toronto!!!!! Hopefully, they keep the speed or make these EVEN FASTER AND CRAZIER!!!! This building was built in 1967 and celebrated it's 50 anniversary this year. These Elevators were originally Otis Touch Sensitive Autotronics, but modernized in the late 1980s or early 1990s into Elevonic 401s or 411M with Dewhurst US89, and like I said, now being modded again!!! When I was here, 1 or 2 elevators in this bank were out of service, not sure if any were done yet as I didn't have a ton of time and just rode the ones original from the previous mod, but I assume they will have a red Dewhurst Kruppy Mod/Replacement like what the TD Waterhouse Tower has (video coming soon). The long Otis indicators were VERY COOL, WEIRD AND INTERESTING!!!!!! And this elevator also has this OBNOXIOUS Floor Passing Beep that I LOVE so much!!!! Needless to say, it was quite interesting seeing these older elevators running off the New Thyssenkrupp Destination Selection Control system!!!!! These are SUPER FUN and are like THEME PARK rides!!!!! With that said, I hope Thyssenkrupp doesn't get rid of that feeling, but I will sure miss the Obnoxious chimes and the 1980's/90's feel these have!!!! With that said, let's give these thrill machines a ride!!!!!
