A port of the arcade sequel to Wonder Boy. Our hero is off on an adventure to free Monster Land of its monsters. Presumably it would be just be called Land afterwards. Wonder Boy's weapon of attack in this game is a sword. He can also purchase shields, boots and armour to make him quite a force to be reckoned with. The ultimate battle in the game is against the mysterious dragon Meka. This game departs from the linear straight-forward platforming action of its predecessor, and is more of an adventure game, something that would characterise the Wonder Boy franchise as it continued. It's a great game, definitely one of the Master System's best, and is a fantastic conversion of the arcade game. This video is a playthrough from start to finish of the game. It was played through an emulator, and uses save states to provide a full run through the game without deaths. There is no special trickery or anything else used to complete the game.
