Repairing some faults with a faulty Roland JX-3P synthesizer

A basic video of my fault finding and repair of a neglected Roland JX-3P ended up with a bad RAM chip, 4011 IC and VCA. The sequencer would also not run, just hanging on the first note. This was a badly gunked up rate slide pot. I dismantled it and cleaned and it was perfect afterwards. I'm not a technician, so this video is just a log of my experience with this synth. Don't treat everything I say as gospel. There may be better ways to fix a 3p but hopefully you find find something here useful There seems to be a few JX-3P videos featuring shag pile rugs. This is not intentional:)
