Today was a historic day for C.U.B.E., as we conducted our first ever double launch. Both of these rockets were flying for the first time, and both successfully deployed parachutes. The first rocket launched was the VOBA-5 second stage, a component of the 2-stage VOBA-5 rocket, which will soon have its integrated test flight. Unfortunately, one of the fins broke on landing, which means that we'll have to re-print the fin can (the fins are 3d-printed). The second rocket launched was the VOBA-4 Mk. 2, making its debut as the first rocket to successfully record its apogee with an onboard altimeter (497ft). There was some minor melting damage to the engine mount, but it should be an easy fix. Thank you for watching, and make sure you are subscribed so you don't miss future launches!!!
