Building a Small Stone House in the Woods - Dry Stone Walling - Day 20-22

Building a small dry-stone house in the woods using the dry stone walling method. The dry stone walls will be approximately 1,5m tall, when the wall and the fireplace are finished, my plans are to use stones as a floor, then build a bed with trees, and last but not least a roof and a door out of wood. I do have some more plans for this place but that will be a surprise in the future. Dry stone structures are stable because of their construction method, which is characterized by the presence of a load-bearing façade of carefully selected interlocking stones. While the dry stone technique is most commonly used for the construction of double-wall stone walls and single-wall retaining terracing, dry stone sculptures, buildings, fortifications, bridges, and other structures also exist.
