Greater strength in leg creates speed and force, resulting in more powerful movement. Bharatanatyam involves extensive usage of Aramandi (a squat stance). A balance between strength and flexibility needs to be understood and encouraged among dancers to ensure that they are properly trained, to promote health and career longevity, which is the sole purpose of this video. Here I am sharing my personal favourite - A squat routine which has helped me with my Aramandi and Nritta. I hope they are useful to you too.
