Superman Legacy probably has the most pressure to deal with out of any major comic book film releasing from Marvel or DC in the next few years. This stems from the fact how it is the first major film in James Gunn's DCU Chapter One, and how the film will introduce the main audience to a new continuity. Metamorpho, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Mr. Terrific are all casted and set to appear in the film, possibly setting up the DCU Justice League. Gunn has also stated that John Cena as Peacemaker, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Blue Beetle are all set to return in the DCU. David Corenswet's Superman will differ from that of Henry Cavill's rendition in the DCEU, or in Zack Snyder's Justice League. Batman will also be played by a new actor in The Brave and The Bold, with Wonder Woman as well most likely not being played by Gal Gadot. The Flash will most likely not be played by Ezra Miller.
