I wanted to see what kind of photographs you could take for less than £300 and so I headed out with my Canon 7D and my Sigma 70-300mm APO lens to find out. The Canon 7D was the perfect camera for bird photography and while the Sigma lens was fine for the focal length I needed, I did find the lens to be less than sharp enough and the maximum aperture a little on the slow side. Bird photography isn't something I often do, but I do enjoy it.
