This webinar reviews common indications for the referral of pediatric patients to Medical Genetics. A case-based approach guides you through differential diagnosis and genetic testing strategies. Dr. Cassie Mintz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Mintz completed her combined Pediatrics and Medical Genetics residency as well as her Masters of Science in Genetic Counseling at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She practices as a clinical geneticist and has interests in dysmorphology, growth disorders, reproductive and cancer genetics. She is the Clinical Director of Telegenetics in the Division of Medical Genetics and Genomics and is currently working on an initiative to expand access to genetic counseling throughout the Mount Sinai Health System.
