In 2013 and 2014, I did record video capture footage of my Nintendo Wii Family Edition console after I received it for Christmas in 2012, but the only games I featured in my early Wii videos were just Virtual Console versions of NES, SNES and Nintendo 64 games. So, after several years, you finally get to see me play both an actual Wii game and a seventh generation console game in general! The primary reason for such major hesitance is due to the fact Nintendo Wii games use unique, wireless remotes as controllers that make players interact with them in all directions, and the Wii require its sensor bar to be placed on top of a screen (a TV or a computer), making video game capture card setups for Wii games a bit difficult, comparing to other video game consoles that use AV-to-RCA cables I have, which are the PlayStation 2 (US NTSC and UK PAL units), the original Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube. Therefore, I hooked up my Wii's AV-to-RCA cables to my Dazzle DVC100 capture device, attached the Wii's sensor bar to the top of my ASUS 1080p HD monitor, and used Pinnacle Studio 15 on my Windows 10 Home PC to record gameplay footage of this Wii game, and it actually worked out great! It is one of the most popular Nintendo Wii games, which many gamers grew up with when it first came out in late 2006, alongside the Nintendo Wii video game console itself. It was even bundled with lots of original 2006 Nintendo Wii units. I bought the Nintendo Selects release for myself at a local Target store back in October 2013, alongside Mario Kart Wii.
