This video features one of Fender's greatest achievements, the BF Deluxe Reverb. The chassis arrived in excellent cosmetic condition and required a full recapping, biasing of output tubes, and a rather challenging repair of both the Tremolo and Reverb effects. If your DR has problems in these areas, this video will explain how to track down the cause. Naturally, at the conclusion of the repair segment we thoroughly test all amp functions and provide an audio demonstration. In addition, with Jack & KC's help, we will open two gift boxes from a very generous Canadian viewer and then proceed to the Part 2 video in which I will discuss the evolution of the Tweed Deluxe amp circuits, beginning with the 5A3 and ending with the magnificent 5E3.
