The First Descendant just went live, and today we benchmark this game with a Geforce RTX 4070 Super, an Intel 14600KF CPU, and 32GB DDR5 6400MT/s CL32 RAM. The First Descendant is the latest Unreal Engine 5 title, and is the first UE5 title to support DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation, as well as DLSS ray reconstruction. So how does The First Descendant on PC perform? Well, pretty good actually. It has hardware ray tracing, and while it can be demanding, it's not really as demanding as many other ray traced titles. It does suffer from some stuttering though, but overall the performance is quite good. The First Descendant is free on Steam, and is a PVE 3rd person looter shooter, and looks quite fun from the little that I played so far.
