Make Me Smile - Chicago - Bass Cover - Request

Hello :) This is the requested transcription I've done of the Chicago song "Make Me Smile" from their 1970 album Chicago (Chicago II). Peter Cetera was the bass player on this track. You can find this transcription at Muzento when you sign up with an Advanced Lesson Plan. There are some tricky rhythms near the beginning. It almost reminds me of morse code? Count it out and work your way up to the tempo. Using the pick helps as you can use double picking (picking on the upstroke) to get those faster rhythms. It's cool how he plays the last 16th of the bar sometimes. Watch for it, you'll hear it if you come in early ;) Peter Cetera is such a rhythmic player. I think he's very underrated when it comes to acknowledging top-notch bass players. I wonder why that is? Does his amazing singing overshadow his amazing bass playing? I hope you enjoy it. Don't forget to "like" and "subscribe" and thanks for watching :) -------------- If you appreciate what I do and or find it helpful, I hope you might consider supporting me through the following: GregsTranscripts - https://www.gregstranscripts.com/ Muzento - https://www.muzento.com Patreon -   / gregfairweather   or you can make a donation through PayPal at - http://bit.do/Much-appreciated ------------------- Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
