EL PSY CONGROO! Man, it was really fun to do this cover, as well as cosplay Okabe (or should I say Hououin Kyouma), cause he's one of my all time favorite anime characters! Steins;Gate is one of the best anime out there, such a well written story with fantastic characters; and to go with that, the opening is mega catchy, so I just had to do a cover of it :D. I figured if I was gonna be cosplaying already, I would have some fun making the video relate to the anime, so I came up with the idea of time traveling during it and filming in front of my microwave xD. I'm really happy with the results and hope you are too! Song-wise, this was actually a little more complicated to arrange than I thought it would be because there's a lot of time signature changes in the latter half, and the melody is super fast so it can be tough to play xD. But overall, I'm quite happy with the arrangement, especially the chuggy verse rhythms! The solo was also really fun to do, that whole section is 100% original so I had total freedom! I'm really proud of that tapping scale riff cause I've always wanted to do one but couldn't get it clean enough until now :D.
