Year: 1996 Background: A rarity of the rap underground, NoMad released his e.p. in mid-1996, and it was mysteriously pulled from shelves with no explanation. He would later speak in an interview, claiming black delivery vans with tinted windows were following him. While there is no conclusive evidence Bill Clinton had anything to do with any of it, there is also no evidence to the contrary. NoMad's lyrics have been described by the few that heard him at the time as "dope, prophetic truths" - perhaps hitting nerves of the wrong people and causing him to flee civilized society in late 1996.
