Epic Shelby GT350 Battle @ Mid-Ohio, until this happened! I can't believe what was on track! P1

This was my first venture to the historic Mid-Ohio track. What a track man!! I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back even though it is a 10+ hour road trip for me. The facilities are old but gives off this awesome racing vibe you can only get at these historic tracks across the country. My personal best was a 1:39 with an optimal lap of 1:38. Not sure if that's any good or not but don't really care with it being my first time on track there. Ended up having an awesome battle with a fellow GT350 owner and good buddy of mine, Brian from West Virginia. We had so much fun out there battling back and forth until they let some guy on track with a pick up truck. Now I would get it if and only if, the truck was moded out with a lot of suspension work etc, but the truck was all stock and had no business being on track with track cars. Could be very dangerous. The driver of the pick up truck ended up blowing his engine, shocking I know. He put oil all over the track along with chunks of aluminum from blowing his motor. Needless to say, everyone was pissed! At any rate, I highly recommend a trip to Mid-Ohio. It's a great track, a lot of fun and hopefully, whoever you run with, will not allow a pick up truck on track. Hope everyone has a blessed day!!
