Mountain biking the technical loop and long loop trails at McDowell Mountain Park - Preview of these trails for the up-coming race in January 2024.These trails were very well maintained, for obvious reasons... Fast and Flowy trails, Long loop had much more actual mountain biking due to the rocks and chunk in the second half, which was a blast! Beautiful views off into the distance. Being far away from the mountains means for a different feeling for mountain biking. At first you feel like you are just in the middle of the desert riding around on a bike (which I guess you are) But surprisingly there were many uphill challenges and downhill cruisers throughout both of these trails. Great trails to ride ONE DIRECTION, which I love. Lets you just shut your brain off and enjoy the ride. Lots of exposure on these trails, but over-all a great place to ride. Many more trails there to explore! Clean showers at the trailhead were a surprising bonus!
