Early in our adolescence, most of us begin a period of self exploration through which we obtain a firm grasp of who we are. For some, this self discovery doesn’t happen easily. In his moving talk, Jordan Debbink will share his personal struggle of how he broke through his numbness to develop a healthy sense of self. Jordan Debbink is an author and nonprofit consultant residing in Grayslake, Illinois. He brings a decade of experience in the fund development field to his role in fundraising to Pioneer Center for Human Services, a local nonprofit serving McHenry County. His experiences in the past include being the president of Music Matters Inc. and the youngest crisis pregnancy center executive director in Wisconsin. In his spare time, Debbink is an avid volunteer on many nonprofit boards, a musician at heart and a writer on nonprofit best practices, millennials in the workplace and the importance of mental health support.
