Changed the suspension set up via DDC to 10/10/10, resulting in a much stiffer more track appropriate configuration. --- Spent the day, May 19, 2024, at the RideSmart school at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. This was my first time on the new track bike, a 2022 BMW S1000RR on Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP V4 tires. Having previously ridden this track twice on a Triumph Street Triple 765 Moto2, I was curious to see how the new bike felt on this technical 10 (11?) turn road course. Today was not about lap times or pinning the throttle in the straights, it was all about body position, corner set up, and holding on to the bike with the lower body vs the hands when going through corners. And yes, all that body work is fatiguing as hell. Oh, and it was 85F+ in the afternoon sessions! Pressures were 32F/29R most of the day, which worked out well.
