The welcoming atmosphere and beautiful surroundings immediately put us in vacation mode. We checked in smoothly and headed to the in-house restaurant, Breathing Roots, for lunch. The restaurant's ambiance, combined with the delicious local cuisine, provided the perfect introduction to the Sundarbans. Post-lunch, we took some time to explore the resort. The lush greenery, manicured gardens, and serene environment were captivating. The highlight of our afternoon was undoubtedly the resort's plush swimming pool. We spent hours splashing around, relaxing on the poolside loungers, and simply enjoying the tranquility of the place. As the day drew to a close, we headed back to Breathing Roots for dinner. The evening menu did not disappoint, offering a variety of delectable dishes that left us thoroughly satisfied. After a leisurely meal, we retreated to our rooms, filled with anticipation for the mangrove boat safari scheduled for the next morning.
